Campaign idea: Louis kept running for his dad
After his dad died and he collapsed near the London finish line, Louis kept running toward all seven major marathons.
This story
Louis only started running in 2022, but after his dad died suddenly in late 2023, training became a way to process grief. He set out to take on all seven World Marathon Majors in his father's memory and raise money for children facing tough circumstances. At the 2025 London Marathon, severe dehydration caused him to collapse just 0.9 kilometres from the finish line. He adapted his training to focus on controlled pacing and prepared to continue his challenge at the Berlin Marathon.
