Campaign idea: Liyuu is training as an opera singer
Growing up in foster care and facing homelessness, Liyuu pushed into classical music and is now training as an opera singer.
This story
After experiencing homelessness and growing up in foster care, Liyuu did not have proper singing lessons until her GCSEs. With support from mentoring organisations for children in care, she earned a place to study vocal performance at conservatoire level. Alongside her degree, she now visits primary schools to introduce children to classical music and performance.
