Campaign idea: Lily is rebuilding her life
Lily survived years of addiction and homelessness. Supported accommodation gave her a safe place to rebuild her life.
This story
After childhood trauma and chronic pain, Lily experienced homelessness, exploitation and a severe heroin addiction. In 2024 she moved into supported accommodation at Shore House, where intensive support helped her stop taking methadone and regain her physical health. She now takes part in resident meetings, practices cooking, and is preparing for more independent living.
