Campaign idea: Lilly is advocating for herself
Trapped by mould, stress and ill health, Lilly struggled to cope. Now she is advocating for herself and finding hope.
This story
Lilly and her daughter were living in mouldy temporary accommodation under heavy stress, while Lilly managed autism, mental ill health and physical conditions. Afraid of losing her daughter if she asked for help, her housing stalled and she even feared using her gas cooker. Support helped Lilly create a communication guide for healthcare workers, learn to use the cooker and find free spaces to revisit art. Lilly now feels stronger, less trapped and ready to lead changes for her family.
