After losing its venue during Covid, Lesley's boxing club secured grant support and business mentoring to reopen. She now opens the gym up to six days a week, running free twelve-week programmes funded through crowdfunding to engage local youth. Alongside regular training, she takes young boxers to spar at other gyms and travel abroad to broaden their horizons away from anti-social behaviour.
