Campaign idea: Leila and Noon are starting school
Leila and Noon had not seen their dad since they were toddlers. Now reunited, they are learning English and starting school.
This story
Leila and Noon were one and three years old when their father was forced to flee Taliban persecution. Visa refusals kept the family separated for years after he left. In May, the sisters were finally reunited with their dad in the UK. They are now registered in school, learning English, making friends, and exploring their neighbourhood.
