After a breakup left Leigh sleeping on the streets, he found a roof over his head and a fresh purpose with Emmaus.
This story
After separating from his partner with nowhere to go, Leigh sofa surfed and slept rough on the streets. An outreach worker told him about Emmaus, leading him to join a community where he found stable accommodation, support for his depression, and work managing a charity shop. He has since moved on to live at another Emmaus community.
