Campaign idea: Leeza is travelling the world
Leeza faced seven spinal surgeries and everyday mobility barriers. Today she has a first-class degree, a career, and travels the world.
This story
Living with congenital muscular dystrophy type 1A, Leeza grew up navigating mainstream school and underwent seven spinal surgeries. Supported by her parents, she earned a first-class degree in health and social care and built a career as a special educational needs worker. She uses an electric wheelchair and regularly travels around the world, adapting to accessibility barriers along the way.
