Campaign idea: Lee wrote a football story
After losing his friend Jack, Lee wrote a football story packed with wordplay to raise £100,000 in his memory.
This story
Lee spent 11 years as Jack's support worker, watching him grow into a close friend before Jack died of Duchenne muscular dystrophy at 28. Remembering an idea they shared to use every phrase featuring Jack's name, Lee wrote a cup final short story featuring 43 jack-related puns. He aims to sell 10,000 copies to raise £100,000 for Duchenne UK as he prepares a digital release.
