Laura spent years battling severe anorexia and isolation. Now she is a lead trainer in a vehicle repair garage.
This story
Laura lived with severe mental health challenges and anorexia from her teenage years, eventually deteriorating to the point of hospitalisation. While receiving treatment she decided she wanted to recover, and in 2021 she joined a garage training programme in London. Since then, she has earned vehicle maintenance qualifications, marked five years of sobriety, and advanced to become a lead trainer.
