Living with asthma and fibromyalgia in a draughty Highlands home, Laura struggled to stay warm alongside her elderly mother. While waiting three weeks for an oil boiler upgrade during power cuts, her health deteriorated and she was admitted to hospital with pneumonia. Facing oil refill costs that jumped to £900, she received emergency heating funds, draught-proofing support, and help liaising with her landlord on further improvements.
