Past experiences in school and employment left Kelvin feeling misunderstood, unsupported, and hesitant about taking on a new role. He took a step into supported employment with Enham Trust, where his manager and peers took time to understand him. Over three and a half years, he completed an apprenticeship in business administration and progressed into a support worker role helping other disabled people achieve their workplace goals.
