This story
Katie came into contact with Spoons eight years ago, when the charity helped set up donations at the funeral of her daughter Phoebe, who died at seven days old in Oldham. After charity-funded trauma therapy helped her through her grief, Katie began fundraising and volunteering so other families could receive support. She and her mum signed up to complete 79 consecutive days of physical activity in memory of Phoebe, as the charity continues to support families facing neonatal care and bereavement.
