Campaign idea: Katie brought baby Miles home
On holiday in Greece, Katie went into labour at 29 weeks and had to fight to bring her premature baby home.
This story
While on a trip to Greece, Katie gave birth to her son Miles at 29 weeks and was separated from him across hospitals in Athens. With guidance from Lia's Wings, Katie and her husband Dan navigated emergency travel documents and an air ambulance flight back to the UK. After three and a half weeks in a local neonatal unit, Katie is now receiving specialised support for postnatal depression and trauma.
