Campaign idea: Josh is running the London Marathon
After losing his mum to lung cancer, Josh is taking on the London Marathon to support the hospice team who cared for her.
This story
At the end of 2023, Josh's mum was diagnosed with a type of lung cancer that affects non-smokers, and she died in June 2025. She received support from Cornwall Hospice Care throughout her illness and asked her family to fundraise for them. Josh is now preparing to run the 2027 London Marathon in her memory.
