Jess is navigating sight loss from a rare condition. Now she and Chris are lighting up their home for Guide Dogs.
This story
Jess is living with sight loss caused by the rare eye condition retinitis pigmentosa. In 2025, Guide Dogs assessed, supported and trained her to use a long cane, and a specialist helped her use accessibility settings on technology. Jess and Chris are now welcoming visitors to their Christmas lights display to raise funds for the charity.
