After her 16-year-old son Oliver died from soft tissue cancer in September 2024, Jenny tried to cope on her own, returning to work within weeks. She struggled with severe anxiety and post-traumatic stress before connecting with a family support worker from a children's hospice. Through weekly bereavement meetings and counselling, Jenny found the support she needed to process her grief and secure a new job.
