This story
Janet became socially isolated and rarely left her house following the death of her husband and a dementia diagnosis. Over eight sessions with community dog Georgie and handler Julia, she began going on local walks and joined a weekly exercise class. Janet now continues attending the exercise group with her carer, going on regular walks and trips to the shops.
