This story
During the pandemic, Jane and her ten-year-old daughter Mia rehomed a non-ridden pony named Fenton after being matched through photos and video calls based on temperament. Mia saved up for his headcollar herself and became his devoted primary caregiver. Fenton is now the anchor of their herd on the farm, helping diffuse disagreements and even carrying Martii the chicken on his back.
