Campaign idea: James is trekking 66 miles
Fourteen months after leaving intensive care in a wheelchair, James is trekking 66 miles from Reading to Southampton.

In June 2025, James was admitted to hospital with acute pancreatitis before developing pneumonia and a burst ulcer. After emergency treatment and time in intensive care, he left hospital in a wheelchair seventeen days later. He is now preparing to walk the 66-mile St James' Way alongside Cathy.
