James secured a place in the London Marathon ballot to run for the two charities that cared for his grandparents.
This story
After winning a place in the London Marathon ballot, James chose to raise funds equally for two causes tied to his family. St Christopher's Hospice provided end of life care for his grandmother, and his girlfriend Fern now works there. He is also supporting the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust in honour of his grandad, who served in the Royal Navy.
