Campaign idea: Jake teaches students about homelessness
After years in care and moving between five foster homes, Jake now lives independently and teaches students about homelessness.
This story
Jake entered care at twelve and moved between five different carers during secondary school. At twenty-one, Jake moved into a council flat with support from Roundabout to learn how to live independently. Today, Jake works part-time in Sheffield and volunteers as a peer educator sharing lived experience with students.
