After being left homeless by an unpaid job, Iulian rebuilt his life and rose to Junior Sous Chef.
This story
In November 2018, Iulian was left homeless and slept rough after an employer failed to pay his wages and evicted him. With support from outreach and housing services, he secured a home, and Only A Pavement Away helped him prepare for job interviews. In February 2019, he started as a kitchen porter, progressed to commis chef, and is now working as a Junior Sous Chef.
