This story
After years of limited contact, Heidi became a full-time carer for her mother following a cancer diagnosis. While juggling a new job, exhaustion, and round-the-clock caring, she turned to Carers Leeds for practical support, grant help, and group sessions. In the course of a single year, both of Heidi's parents died, she went through a divorce, and she bought a house. She is now finding her footing again, balancing grief with rediscovering who she is as a climber, gardener, and friend.
