Campaign idea: Hannah found her voice to help others
Hannah would not speak or hold eye contact when she arrived at day services. Today she uses her confidence to help others.
This story
Hannah has Global Developmental Delay and selective mutism, and lives at home with her family. After leaving further education, she joined Oakwood day services, where she was initially extremely shy and would not speak or join in. Over time, she began taking part in activities, speaking in short sentences, and now uses her confidence to assist others with everyday tasks.
