This story
George joined a specialist pre-school in Yeovil at age two with no recognisable spoken words, often becoming frustrated when trying to communicate. Staff used objects, photos, and signing to reduce his anxiety and help him join in with activities, alongside specialist therapies that led to an autism diagnosis in 2025. The group also supported his family through preparing for his transition to a specialist school.
