Geetanjali works as a clinical director for anaesthesia at an NHS hospital. After a misdirected email introduced her to Operation Smile, she volunteered on a surgical programme in Puebla, Mexico, teaching paediatric protocols and caring for children. The charity continues to coordinate medical volunteers providing surgical care across the world.
