Gareth, 75, lives in Caerphilly with his wife Elaine and deals with post-traumatic stress disorder alongside leg and shoulder pain. Needing help applying for Attendance Allowance, he met with an adviser who assisted him in submitting his claim on time. Gareth was awarded the higher rate, which also opened the door to Council Tax reductions and Pension Credit.
