After past respite stays had to be cut short, Freya took on climbing and the giant swing during an outdoor week away.
This story
Freya has cerebral palsy, uses a wheelchair and has high support needs. In the past, respite placements had proved difficult and sometimes had to be cut short, leaving her family unsure how another try would go. A week away at an outdoor adventure centre gave her the chance to tackle climbing and the giant swing, make a close friend and give her parents a break.
