This story
Fred was diagnosed with focal segmental glomerulonephritis and his kidneys failed when he was sixteen years old. After receiving a kidney transplant, he began marking each anniversary by throwing a party for family and friends. The annual celebration raises funds for Kidney Research UK and has grown larger each year.
