Fathima's twelve-year-old son Tobi has Takayasu arteritis and underwent two major heart surgeries in one year, keeping the entire family in hospital for months at a time. A supported trip to Clacton-on-Sea gave Fathima and her three sons their first real break from hospital routines to walk on the beach and rest together.
