Elsie juggles caring for her mum and younger brother with her dreams of becoming a rock star.
This story
At home, Elsie helps care for her mother through neurological episodes and looks after her younger brother with daily meals and bedtime routines. After her school referred her for support, she attended two respite breaks where she could try art, cycling, and outdoor activities. She continues to sing in a school band and recently completed a reading challenge to raise funds for other young carers.
