Campaign idea: Ellie is training as a ranger
Ellie organised student tours for six years before leaving tourism to retrain as a conservation ranger.
This story
After studying languages and working in tourism organising summer schools, Ellie decided to change careers towards conservation. Without professional experience in the field, she spent a year volunteering with wildlife groups and funded herself through summer work. She is now working as a trainee ranger in Sussex, learning practical land management and wildlife surveying.
