Campaign idea: Egerton built a career in the City
Egerton was arrested at 17, but a library book in prison sparked a new path into City finance.
This story
Arrested at 17 and sent to prison, Egerton discovered books on finance and investing in the library. He studied an Open University module funded by Prisoners' Education Trust to prepare for his release. Fifteen months after leaving prison, he was working as a business analyst in the City and mentoring teenagers.
