Campaign idea: Devante rebuilt his life as a chef
Devante spent years in prison, but support from a mentor helped him rebuild his life as a chef.
This story
Devante went to prison at 20 and was later recalled, spending over eight years inside and feeling angry about his situation. While incarcerated, he met a mentor named Hannah who supported him through release and helped prevent another recall when work conflicted with probation. Devante has since settled into work as a chef and is focusing on building a positive future.
