This story
Darren returned to education at thirty-three, but balancing online study with frontline homelessness work and childcare for his grandchildren left him overwhelmed. After nearly stepping away from the course, support from colleagues helped him push past doubts about his age and finish. He has now stepped into a senior role on his project, using what he learned to help keep people in their homes.
