After twenty years of trauma in the police, Danni stepped away and found a new purpose supporting former colleagues.

Danni joined Sussex Police at nineteen and spent two decades attending traumatic incidents and supporting bereaved families as a family liaison officer. Over time, living on her nerves and dealing with mounting anxiety led her to leave the force in 2022. Now working on the railway, she volunteers to help serving and former officers recognise trauma and seek support.
