Years of severe reactions left Danielle terrified for her newborn son until doctors finally found what was causing them.
This story
Danielle suffered for years with worsening hives and facial swelling that medication did not stop. When her newborn son was four weeks old, she struggled to breathe and almost blacked out during her worst reaction yet. Further tests eventually showed an allergy to omega 5 gliadin, a wheat protein that causes severe allergic reactions. After cutting out all wheat and carrying Epi-Pens, she has had only three minor reactions.
