This story
Danielle had not run properly for two decades before completing Couch to 5K in June 2026. When her mum was placed in palliative care with pancreatic and ovarian cancer, the hospice helped her rebuild her strength to keep fighting. Sitting by her mum's bedside, Danielle signed up for the London Marathon and joined a running club to prepare.
