This story
Daniela has lived with hearing loss since childhood and relied on her mother to help her navigate everyday sounds. After her mother died from skin cancer in 2020, Daniela struggled with deep isolation and felt unable to leave the house. In 2022, she was paired with hearing dog Tinker, who now supports her at home and joins her every day at work as a primary school teacher.
