Dan started with no English qualifications and needed help travelling. Now he commutes independently and works in office administration.
This story
In 2023, Dan began a customer service apprenticeship where he gained an English qualification, learned barista skills and helped train others. His support worker Jamie gave him travel training so he could learn to use trains and buses on his own. Dan now travels an hour independently each Friday to volunteer as an admin assistant, with plans to move out into his own place.
