Craig spent his days sitting at home bored before training gave him the confidence to run his own kitchen section.
This story
Before starting a supported work programme, Craig spent his days at home with little to do. After completing his training, he started out as a kitchen porter helping with food prep and washing dishes. In January 2025, the head chef approached him to step up, and he now works full-time as a commis chef running his own cooking section.
