After surviving substance abuse and homelessness, Corie rebuilt life at a supported centre and headed off to study marine biology at university.
This story
Corie struggled with substance abuse and depression after leaving college and losing work, eventually moving out and facing homelessness and isolation. With help from family, Corie joined a supported living programme in Devon, receiving regular counselling and building everyday confidence. Corie went on to pass college access courses with several distinctions and secured a place at university to study marine biology.
