This story
Connor, twelve, from London, joined a summer camp in 2025 after worrying he would be lonely the entire time. Away from city sirens and shouting, he tried night bat watching, helped build dams to reduce water flow, and found a peaceful space to express himself. He is now a charity ambassador, working alongside friends to protect the environment and encourage other young people outdoors.
