Campaign idea: Colin mentored others in prison
While serving his prison sentence, Colin decided to become a peer mentor supporting new arrivals and those facing addiction.
This story
Colin helped set up a pilot peer mentoring scheme in prison to support new arrivals with emotional guidance, daily routines and courses. He went on to support people struggling with drug and alcohol recovery. In November 2025, his voluntary service was recognised with two awards at the House of Lords.
