Growing up in Linwood, Colette left school without qualifications and only discovered in adulthood that she had dyslexia. After raising two daughters and working part-time, she earned a degree in technology but was rejected at every job interview because she could not code. She joined CodeYourFuture while working full-time, graduated in March 2022, and secured a position at an international technology firm.
