Campaign idea: Claire is running the London Marathon
Claire promised her dad she would cover the cost of his hospice care. Now she is preparing for the London Marathon.
This story
In July 2025, Claire's dad, Malcolm, died after his second battle with cancer, spending his final five days being cared for at a hospice in Hayle. Before he died, he wanted to pay for his stay and the staff who supported him, and his family promised to raise the money in his memory. Claire is taking on the 2027 London Marathon to keep that promise.
