This story
Sarah moved back home to care for Claire as her health worsened, but redundancy left them surviving solely on disability benefits. By December, rising arrears forced them to heat just a single room and cut meals back to toast and noodles. Essential supplies including blankets, toiletries and small gifts gave them warmth and eased their monthly bills.
