This story
After his business went bankrupt and his marriage ended, Chris struggled through multiple jobs while facing mounting debt, alcohol dependence, and severe depression. Just days before bailiffs evicted him, he reached Emmaus Hampshire and moved into their residential community. Since finding help and receiving a diagnosis for long-standing diabetes, he has spent two years in recovery and now works five days a week in their transport office.
