Charlie started running to heal and reconnect with her body after going through multiple fertility treatments. When she caught coronavirus in March 2020, running along the Grand Union Canal became an essential part of rebuilding both her physical and mental health. Following a recent relapse that kept her inside, she prepared to head back out onto the towpaths.
